The falafel

The homemade falafel was Madhur Jaffrey's recipe from Madhur Jaffrey's World of the East Vegetarian Cooking. Better than any pre-made mix I've bought, and they'll be even better after I get a food grinder. I've bid on this one because it's cheaper than getting the attachment to my KitchenAid, but we'll see.

I should try making non-bulk-mix falafel sometime, and even have that cookbook. I've had some in restaurants that was bright green inside with parsley or whatever it was -- I'm sure it would be a great thing to experiment with.

I've got a meat grinder you could use. I love it, but I don't drag it out that often. I don't really have the room to use it in unless I get highly motivated. Still, I'd buy it again just because I like knowing it's there. You can take it for awhile if you want.
