Toffee time!
Jan. 30th, 2007 09:54 pmNow that I am well, and not spewing germs all over stuff, it's toffee time! I bought candy boxes today, and three pounds (well, a little more, as a batch seems to come out at about a pound and a quarter) of fresh, yummy toffee went out. (Also made today: 1 pot of soup, 1 batch cornmeal/sesame sandwich bread; 1 batch New York Times bread; 1 dozen cinnamon rolls; a fair bit of money working at home. Whew!)
Oh, and if anyone else wants toffee, there's still time to order. I'm going to take orders through the middle of February. Ten US dollars a pound plus shipping (or you can pick it up); one-pound increments; specify with or without nuts, with or without coffee, with or without chocolate. (The nuts are almonds; the chocolate is Guittard semisweet.)
