Boxy goodness

Okay, I'm being really careful not to overtax my wrists, so I won't be posting much, but I had to burble a little about the box we got Wednesday from Eatwell Farm. In order to save my wrists, here's the post I made to their yahoo group:
Things we've eaten from our box so far:
* Eggs (thanks for the sample!)
* Green garlic, my new favorite thing
* Lemon verbena tea
* Fava beans three ways (raw, blanched -- our favorite, and then peeled and sauteed with olive oil, green garlic, peas, and a garnish of crisp-fried spinach)
* Fresh peas and spinach, see above (I love shelling peas. I think maybe I'm weird.)
* Sweet potatoes (these are so good that I am dying to taste the ones grown here -- I had two microwaved for lunch at work, and then for dinner, I roasted the rest with a little olive oil and salt (along with some beets, onions and carrots), and couldn't stop eating them)
* Beets, see above
* Strawberries (not the bestest ever, but I know y'all had some rain trouble)
Still have spinach, lettuce, beet greens, and verbena left. Um, and since it's only Friday, we may have to think about increasing our order. :-)
Serene, happy
I just love the Christmas-morning feeling of opening up that box. Next week, we may have *cherries*!
