Artichokes are 39 cents each these days, and they're the best we've ever had (the "frost-kissed", ugly ones). Tonight, we had them alongside some fried rice (rice, tofu, soy sauce, Thai chili sauce, a little peanut oil, red onions, peas -- comment if you want more details, but it's just your basic fried rice). I kinda wish I'd been more hungry, because I loved it all but I couldn't even finish the artichoke! *sob*

Oh, well, I know what I'm having for breakfast tomorrow.

That looks so good!! I love artichokes - especially stuffed ones! :)

BTW, I have the NYT bread "yeasting" right now. I'm doing it for 18 hours since the pot I need to cook it in - is in use. :)

The video link you posted the other day didn't come up for some reason. :( If the lid I have isn't good for the oven, could I cover the pot tightly w/ tin foil? Also, do we have to spray the pot w/ a cooking spry so it won't stick? Thanks, as always, for your help! :)

I use heavy-duty foil for a "lid" since mine can't go in the oven. And no, no need to spray the pot.

I wish I knew why the video works for some people and not others. Frustrating.
