Product review: Ricera rice yogurt
Jun. 17th, 2007 06:46 pmIt was two six-ounce containers for a dollar at the Grocery Outlet, so I decided to give Ricera a try.
Wow. I'm so surprised. This stuff is really good.
I have yet to find a soy yogurt that wasn't really yucky to me -- beany, grainy, yuck. Ricera tastes like *yogurt*. I mean, the texture isn't quite right -- it's more like vegan gelatin than yogurt, but the taste is good, and that's more important to me (since I don't mind the texture of vegan gelatin).
I tried the strawberry flavor, and it's yummy. Whole grains, low fat, and good tasting.
