It was two six-ounce containers for a dollar at the Grocery Outlet, so I decided to give Ricera a try.

Wow. I'm so surprised. This stuff is really good.

I have yet to find a soy yogurt that wasn't really yucky to me -- beany, grainy, yuck. Ricera tastes like *yogurt*. I mean, the texture isn't quite right -- it's more like vegan gelatin than yogurt, but the taste is good, and that's more important to me (since I don't mind the texture of vegan gelatin).

I tried the strawberry flavor, and it's yummy. Whole grains, low fat, and good tasting.

Usually, I make stuff from scratch -- salad dressings, pancakes, etc.-- but now and then when I'm in the Grocery Outlet, something looks good and since it's reduced in price, I go ahead and buy it. Picked up some Wishbone fat-free red wine vinaigrette, and it's good, but not great. It'll really do for those times when I just want to marinate something, or have something to dip tofu/seitan in before breading it or something. A little too sweet, a little wimpy, but definitely doable, and I do like having low-fat options around.
